Lessons from Joe Nussbaum.

As a student of film, I've learned many things from other directors and film sets I've been on over the years. When I was an extra on the set of Sydney White in 2007, I noticed that director Joe Nussbaum went jogging at lunchtime. He came back all sweaty and wheezing at the DP about the next shot.

As years went by, I noticed that it's hard to find time to exercise on sets. On my last film I gained 15lbs over the course of 19 shooting days. To try to keep this from happening again, I've started to jog a mile each day. I wake up. Eat breakfast. Talk to Marco about the first shot and then I jog with Chris. By the time I get back...we're ready to shoot.

Thank you, Joe Nussbaum.
